Oceana County Early Learning Center Opens September 28, 2020

Opening on Monday September 28th, 2020, the Oceana County Early Learning Center (OCELC) is a Shelby Public Schools child care center available to any child from birth to four years of age, from any area. The OCELC has four classrooms, and will provide services to children in a year-round, natural based program that operates from 6:00 am to 6:00 p.m, Monday through Friday. The Creative Curriculum and Connect4 Learning curriculum provide inclusive, researched-based, and engaging lessons that focus on the whole child.

Families can apply for child care assistance through the State of Michigan Child Development and Care (CDC) Program. To apply for assistance, use MI Bridges at: https://newmibridges.michigan.gov/

The OCELC has given us the opportunity to create child care options for families, and we are very excited to open our doors to our community.
